We know that pitches make all the difference. Find a good pitch and you will want to come back. That is why we are confident we will see you in Halmstad far more than once. You will always be welcome!

For city lovers

Are you looking for the city buzz and ready access to almost everything? Then, there is nothing better than being close to the city, next to the water and only a short walk from shopping, restaurants, theatres and cinemas.

At Citycamp Halmstad External link, opens in new window., the Nissan river is your nearest neighbour. There are 27 motorhome pitches along the quay, 20 of them having an electricity supply. The sites amenities include: toilets; fresh water supplies; emptying of both cassette toilets and grey water; and, containers for various sorts of waste.

Halmstads Segelsällskap’s External link, opens in new window. pitches are at the mouth of the Nissan, just over a kilometre south of Halmstad’s centre, right next to the Västra Stranden beach. There are some ten motorhome pitches with access to fresh water and electricity. Showers, toilets, laundry facilities and Wi-Fi are also available.

Along the Nissan at Kajskjulet, BK Najaden (swe) External link, opens in new window. has parking spaces for motorhomes, with access to electricity and water. Here you have a nice view and can enjoy the evening sun, while following the boating life from the first floor. There are toilets, showers, washing machine and dryer, emptying of cassette toilet and greywater, waste sorting at the environmental station, common area with complete kitchen and patio with access to barbecue and more.

For golf lovers

If you are a golf enthusiast, we would like to point you in the direction of the pitches at Halmstad’s golf courses. You could scarcely get any closer to your interest. In fact, you could say that these pitches are holes in one!

Haverdal Golf Club External link, opens in new window. has six pitches with access to electricity. A perfect pitch if you want to combine a motorhome trip with scenic golf on an 18-hole course. Furthermore, Haverdal’s fantastic, imagination-inspiring nature reserve is just next door.

Holms Golfklubb (swe) External link, opens in new window. has six pitches where both caravans and mobile homes are welcome. It is located in the parking lot behind the restaurant. The surface is asphalt and you have access to electricity. Their hilly and scenic 18-hole course offers fun and challenging play.

Tönnersjö Golf Club External link, opens in new window. has 22 pitches at its “ranch”. Some are on grass, others on gravel. Electricity is available. The scenic, challenging, 18-hole golf course has beautiful views. There is also a 9-hole pay & play course – perfect for anyone who wants to try out the game of golf.

For coast lovers

Do you want to be on the coast to enjoy magical sunsets and sea breezes? Do you dream of waking to fantastic, marine views? Your dream can come true here!

Grötvik’s picturesque harbour has a number of pitches provided by Grötviks Segelsällskap External link, opens in new window.. Here, you can enjoy the sea and the naturally beautiful Prince Bertil’s walking trail External link, opens in new window.. Halmstad Wakepark is just next door. It offers toilets, showers, a laundry room and internet. Electricity and water are included subject to availability.

Gullbrannagården External link, opens in new window. is a year-round open camping site in a beautiful location just south of Halmstad. The pitches are idyllically positioned in the forest fringe – central, but still quiet. Near to the camping site, there is a long, child-friendly beach. There are also lovely and charming walking and cycle trails.

Skallkroken Harbour’s External link, opens in new window. position has ensured that it is very popular with touring motorhomes and caravans. Visitors appreciate the area’s glorious, sandy beaches and wonderful nature reserves. The ten pitches have access to electricity, toilets, showers (disabled-friendly), laundry, waste station and black and grey water emptying. You have to prebook the pitch.

At Strandgården Camping External link, opens in new window., on the sea’s doorstep, there are pitches with access to electricity and a service building. The facility’s restaurant, café, kiosk and baker’s shop are open throughout the summer.

For countryside lovers

Countryside pitches, animals, fields of waving crops, mother nature. That is what is so wonderful about Halmstad. Quality of life is always on hand.

In Getinge on Göteborgsvägen 725 with proximity to outdoor swimming pool, grocery stores, pizzeria and lake Nyhaga with beach and jetty, you will find Getinge Ställplats (swe). External link, opens in new window.

At Wapnö Gård External link, opens in new window., which is near the city, you have the close companionship of cows. The 50 pitches on gravel are open year round for both motorhomes and caravans. Watching the calves, shopping in the estate outlet, eating in the restaurant and walking in the castle park are some of the attractions here. At Lilla Böslid (swe), External link, opens in new window. the fields open out. West of the farm, there are 10 pitches on gravel. They are open 1 May – 30 September. The site is dog friendly and only around one kilometre from the sea. There are facilities for emptying grey and black water.
