Welcome to the Theater Bar, where you can enjoy a delicious beverage. Perhaps coffee and cake would be to your taste? A beer, glass of wine or champagne? Naturally, we also have nonalcoholic alternatives.
The Theater Bar is open to you and your party from one hour before the performance begins. Naturally, we are also open during the pause. Please bear in mind that some shows do not have an pause. In our event calendar you can see if the event you are going to visit have an pause or not.
Remodeling in progress
Right now we are rebuilding Halmstad's Theatre. From October 18, the theater will be open again for meetings and events while the renovation is being completed. We have collected information about the rebuild on a separate page. Welcome to Halmstad Theater!
Something to eat or drink at the theater?
You can buy drinks and snacks at the Theater Bar from one hour before the performance begins and during the pause, including coffee and cake, soft drinks, water, beer, wine, cider, candy, crisps and popcorn. Enjoy!
Prebook for the pause
Subject to availability, you can also book a table for the pause. You can do so by speaking to the staff in the Theater Bar before the performance begins. If you intend to do so, we recommend that you arrive in good time as the bar is often busy and this will allow us to assist you in the best possible way.

Be sure to book a table so that you arrive at the theater in good time for the performance. Our doors open one hour before the performance, from which time we will be delighted to welcome you. You should be here no later than 20 minutes before the start of the performance so that you have time to leave your outwear in the wardrobe and find your seat.
Restaurant in the same building as the theater
