Halmstad Theater is part of Destination Halmstad AB, a company owned by Halmstad Municipality.

Destination Halmstad’s mission is to actively promote the development of Halmstad as a city for visitors, meetings and events. Destination Halmstad operates in two business areas in addition to Halmstad Theater: tourist information and the Halmstad Convention Bureau.
