Halmstad’s best burger shack

Is there anything as good as a simple burger? Here we’ve rounded up some of our favorite places with crusty buns, top-quality meat and chili sauces that’ll give you a real kick in your mouth.

Everyone feels comfortable here, either in the open-air seating area or in the cozy atmosphere inside. Their menus are constantly being re-worked – so the selection changes frequently. However you will always find their delicious beef burgers on the menu, and that will never change. With their own special hamburger dressing and buns from Skånskan, Bull’s Cheeseburger is a classic favorite of many. Locals know why. Try it out yourself and you’ll see.

Hummër Grill and Bar

Right in the center of town, Hummër (swe) External link, opens in new window. is a super great place with wonderful food on the menu along with a cozy atmosphere. Among many other things they offer, you will find a very tasty ground sirloin hamburger that is on both the weekday lunch menu and the evening menu. Flavorful meat, crispy fries, fresh bread and habanero mayo. There’s also a small but cozy outdoor patio along Storgatan where the sun shines brightly during the day.

Ulvered’s Deer Park

Out in the forest of Halland, just on the border between Halmstad and Laholm, you’ll find Ulvereds Hjorthägn External link, opens in new window. surrounded by magical fairy tale forests. It offers a legendary farm raised deer burger made from local venison with crispy roasted wild boar bacon and lots of other delicacies. Or try a wild boar burger, also with wild boar bacon and local cheese from Skottorp. Take the opportunity to enjoy nature a little extra and take a walk on Ulvered’s nature trail, or visit their fantastic farm shop.
