Halmstad Golf Club

Nestled in the Tylösand pine forest, so close to the sea that you can feel the salt air on your face when the wind blows in from the sea, you will find two great eighteen-hole courses. Halmstad Golf Club’s North Course is regularly named one of Sweden’s best courses. No visit to Halmstad Golf Club would be complete without playing a round on the shorter, more narrow South Course.

The North Course

The layout of the North Course is perfect for scratch and bogey players alike. The course has a good variety of holes, which means that a round here moves along at a comfortable pace. The Solheim Cup External link, opens in new window. is one of several major championships that have been held here in Halmstad. In 2015, the course hosted the men's Team EC, and in 2017, it hosted Annika Sörenstam’s international juniors competition, Annika Invitational Europe. External link, opens in new window. And in 2022, Scandinavian Mixed (swe) External link, opens in new window. was arranged at Halmstad Golf Club.

The South Course

The South Course rewards precision over distance. This course is a favorite among club members and they tend to play more rounds here – guests would do well to follow in their footsteps. Two nine-hole loops will bring you back to the clubhouse, which is a great option for a round in the long shadows of late evening.

So much more than golf

The club runs the award-winning golf pub (swe) External link, opens in new window. with top-notch service that has gained almost as much notoriety as the pub's enticing menu. After Work evenings on Fridays are an especially big draw. The course also has a very large, well-stocked golf shop if you are itching to add something new to your bag.
